We accept prescriptions from any doctor, including those outside the university or out-of-state, and can transfer prescriptions to or from other pharmacies. Bring in your prescription or have your doctor send it directly to us by phone, fax, or electronically. To transfer a prescription to our pharmacy, complete our transfer form and allow 24–48 hours for processing. For questions, call 803-777-4890.

Prescriptions are typically filled in about 20 minutes and are processed in the order received. Delays may occur due to multiple prescriptions, insurance issues, or physician consultations. Free 30-minute parking available next to the Calcott Social Sciences Building. Be sure to bring your CarolinaCard, a government-issued photo ID (required for controlled substances and Pseudoephedrine products), your prescription insurance card, and any discount cards you wish to use.

If someone else is picking up your prescription, call us in advance with their name—they must bring their ID. For vacation supplies, we’ll work with your insurance provider if applicable; if you're paying out-of-pocket, we can provide enough medication to cover your time away.
