Filling Prescriptions
We accept prescriptions from any doctor, including those outside the university or out-of-state, and can transfer prescriptions to or from other pharmacies. Bring in your prescription or have your doctor send it directly to us by phone, fax, or electronically. To transfer a prescription to our pharmacy, complete our transfer form and allow 24–48 hours for processing. For questions, call 803-777-4890.
Picking Up Your Prescriptions
Prescriptions are typically filled in about 20 minutes and are processed in the order received. Delays may occur due to multiple prescriptions, insurance issues, or physician consultations. Free 30-minute parking is available in the Bull Street Garage—just show your pharmacy receipt to the attendant. Be sure to bring your CarolinaCard, a government-issued photo ID (required for controlled substances and Pseudoephedrine products), your prescription insurance card, and any discount cards you wish to use.
If someone else is picking up your prescription, call us in advance with their name—they must bring their ID. For vacation supplies, we’ll work with your insurance provider if applicable; if you're paying out-of-pocket, we can provide enough medication to cover your time away.

Curbside Delivery FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions)
No. Controlled substances and medications that require refrigeration cannot be delivered at this time. Other drug exclusions may apply. Please call the pharmacy for additional details.
No. You can only request to have your prescription delivered when it has been filled and is ready for pickup through a link via a prescription ready text message.
Deliveries will occur between 11am and 3pm M-F. If you place your order by 2:00pm you can receive same day delivery. After you have checked out you will receive an “Out for Delivery” text with an estimated delivery timeframe.
The pharmacy will provide on campus curbside delivery only. Pick the prepopulated delivery address closest to your location.
Yes. You will be required to sign and a government issued ID must be presented (Valid Driver’s License, Passport, Military ID). Carolina Cards are not accepted.
No. There is not a delivery fee at this time.
The Center for Health and Well-Being Pharmacy will use the USC Paratransit bus for deliveries. The couriers are USC employees who have undergone a background screening and special training.
The pharmacy will only share your full name, delivery address, phone number and an unidentifiable prescription number with the courier for delivery purposes only. To protect patient privacy, no other personal information or prescription information will be shared with the courier or displayed on the tamper-evident package.
